Congregate Living Health Facility Start-up

Congregate Living Health Facility Start-up

A Congregate Living Health Facility (CLHF) provides 24-hour skilled nursing and supportive care for a facility with 6 or fewer beds. A CLHF serves physically disabled persons, ventilator-dependent persons, terminally ill persons with a life expectancy of six months or less, and persons who are catastrophically and severely disabled.

Care at these facilities is typically less intense than that of hospitals, yet often more care-intensive than other skilled nursing facilities. Being aware of local and state laws when starting and operating a CLHF is important to maintaining compliance. All Care Consulting Services offers consulting services in every step of starting and running a Congregate Living Health Facility.
